From Narcissistic Abuse to Radical Self-Worth: The Inspiring Journey of Jeremia Renee

Since the first chronicles of mankind, spirituality has been portrayed as a source of solace, guidance, and inspiration. For centuries, socially acceptable practices revolved solely around religion and worship, tainting the name of other spiritual gateways, such as magic, tarot, or chakra work. Despite these stigmas, Jeremia Renee, a passionate author and coach, tapped into the power of candle magic and music, ultimately rediscovering her sense of identity, facing past traumas, and unleashing her full potential.

Central to Jeremia’s journey are relationships of narcissistic abuse – a sad reality she became conscious of during her toxic marriage. Though her former husband was the one who sparked that awareness, Jeremia, reflecting on her life, understood that her tendency to seek and trust narcissists stemmed from childhood trauma. Raised in a malignant environment where blind religious obedience came first, Jeremia’s formative years were centered around shame, guilt, and manipulation.

As the saying goes, You marry who you’re raised by. My father would project his insecurities on me, my mother, an obliviously pious woman, would wound her loved ones ‘in the name of God,’ and my ex-husband was the perfect blend of both – religious, narcissistic, and abusive,” Jeremia shares.

Dedicated to turning her life around, this resilient woman embarked on a spiritually awakening journey. Through learning the art of self-empathy, self-love, and self-worth, she slowly started facing her demons, becoming comfortable with the inner hatred that being mistreated evoked. For Jeremia, this path was not only about charting a better future; it was about rebuilding what was the foundation of her identity.

The pivotal moment happened when Jeremia discovered the truth behind her ancestry. Growing up in a religious household, she used to associate all divination that strayed away from Christianity with demonic, occult practices. Her mindset shifted when she delved into her roots only to find that her grandmother, who passed away in 2012, was an Eastern Star – a woman who reflected the spirit of love for the benefit of humanity.

More than broadening Jeremia’s perspective on her identity, this discovery helped her realize that there are two sides to every coin and that light can’t exist without darkness. Gaining that wisdom inspired her to explore what she once considered forbidden, leading her to the realm of candle magic. By harnessing that power, Jeremia was able to communicate with her late grandmother and tap into her otherworldly insights to navigate life’s storms better.

In her life, my grandmother came face-to-face with evil. She knew what I was going through, and her presence guided me through my own journey,” Jeremia adds. We are conditioned to believe that when people die, that’s it. But the true beauty of life is, even if someone passes away, the connection lasts beyond the grave.”

Through all the turmoil of her divorce and separation, including her mother and stepfather alienating her and choosing to support and accommodate her abusive husband over their daughter, Jeremia remained dedicated to healing her wounds. Candle magic was essential to her recovery, with every positive spell whispered empowering her with more strength, hope, and confidence. In a full-circle moment, when Jeremia – guided by her grandmother Annie – stood back on her feet and left a domestic violence shelter, she purchased her first home, a beautiful property located on Annie Lane.

Though her grandmother’s light burned the brightest, Jeremia’s spiritual path was illuminated by other spirits of her friends and loved ones who passed away. What enriched her self-discovery odyssey was the power of music – an art that has always been a part of Jeremia’s life. Growing up and even during her marriage, Jeremia was an integral member of her church’s choir, evoking profound emotions through her impactful voice. As her journey progressed, she shifted toward writing original songs and creating unique melodies inspired by her experiences.

A culmination of her path, Jeremia developed Radical Self-Worth, an empowering program curated to free mindsets from the shackles of trauma and societal stigmas. To honor her journey of narcissistic abuse and bravery, Jeremia released Clarity – her newest song that captures the misery of limiting beliefs and the euphoria of rediscovering the power of self-trust and confidence.

Perhaps what best seizes the essence of Jeremia’s inspirational life are the words she sings:

Social media hysteria left me struggling to breathe

Slowly dying on the inside, had to gain my sanity

Had to find inner existence, had to fight for energy

I was blind, but now I see.

When I discovered me, I finally found relief

I’m in the driver’s seat of my prosperity

I had to brawl for peace through insularity

With all sincerity, I found my clarity.
