63-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Bicycle-Auto Collision near 79th Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 25, 2024) Kennedy Coleman was sustained injuries late Monday night, in a hit-and-run bicycle collision on Hoover Street.

First responders arrived to the scene around 10:30 p.m., near 79th Street.

Reports indicate that the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck a man riding his bicycle, throwing him to the ground and causing severe injuries.

As the man tried to get back on his bike, a northbound sedan on Hoover Street struck him again.

Paramedics responded and transported the cyclist, identified as 63-year-old Kennedy Coleman, to the hospital in critical condition.
