James Murphy has announced that LCD Soundsystem's third album is finished via Twitter: “mixing last song right now to send to the amazing bob weston to master. meaning, record DONE. i hope people like it.” Murphy lurked around L.A. last summer, playing secret shows and helping out Noah Baumbach for the soundtrack for the whiny new film, Greenberg. The mansion LCD inhabited was the same one that Rick Rubin put up the Red Hot Chili Peppers during the Blood Sugar Sex Magick sessions. It's no Suge Knight mansion, but, the rumors of that giant American flag are true.
