VISTA, CA (November 21, 2024) – One man died Monday afternoon, in a pedestrian crash on Sycamore Avenue and Shadowridge Drive.
Authorities received dispatch calls just after 2:00 p.m., on November 11th. Per reports, a vehicle struck a man who was running outside a marked crosswalk in the 800 block of Sycamore Avenue.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officials have not yet disclosed his identity or place of residence.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. The investigation into the pedestrian accident on Sycamore Avenue is ongoing.
