Missing Persons Find the Whisky: Dale Bozzio has kept the Missing Persons flag flying, and they can often be found on those ‘80s multi-band bills that they have at the Greek every year.

Did you know, though, that Missing released a new album this year, called Hollywood Lie? Cleopatra Records describes it as, “The visionary new studio album from ’80s new wave legends, Missing Persons, that revives the band’s vintage sound and extraordinarily catchy songwriting! Featuring all original material themed around the familiar story of a young starlet caught up in the glitz, glamor and empty promises of Hollywood, this is without a doubt the best album the band has done since their ’80s heyday!” Intriguing!

Meanwhile, Pinktastic Plastixx is also on the bill. "Pinktastic Plastixx formed roughly in August of 2022 and I actually had to look back at our first band rehearsal pic to figure this out," Hollywood Pink Lady Kitten Kay Sera told us in February. "I had the idea… but it took a while to “cast” the right vibe, right tribe. Because I was not just building a band, I was building a brand. I also had to find girls who not only played great but who liked and would, at least, wear some pink. I mean, with a name like Pinktastic Plastixx it is a big part of it. I also wanted an all ages band and we are all stages of ages — on one stage. Ranging from 20’s to 60’s. The thing is, I was told that I was too old to front a band which, of course, just made me want to do it even more. Therefore, if our band has any kind of message it is DREAMS DO NOT EXPIRE! Do what you want and do it loud and proud… and we are."

Timm Saxton & the Room, Storey & the Tellers, Jeff Greenleaf, and Grateful Wolf (tribute to Grateful Dead) also perform.

Missing Persons Find the Whisky: The event takes place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 at the Whisky.
