According to police reports, Felipe Villarreal, 42 and 57-year-old Rafael Padilla were shot to death early Monday morning at 3:15 a.m., at the corner of Lorena and East First streets. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the suspected gunman responsible for the shooting deaths.
The police were notified of the shooting by a 911 call from an unknown citizen who had heard the early morning shots, said Officer Gregory Daek. Detectives are probing possible motives for the killings.
