TUCSON, AZ (October 6, 2023) – A two-car collision on West Avra Valley Road resulted in the death of Nicholas Trondsen on Sunday morning, October 1st.
The incident unfolded shortly before 10:30 a.m. near North Portland Avenue.
According to preliminary reports, Tronsden was in the process of pulling off the road when a westbound vehicle struck the rear of his vehicle.
Medics who arrived at the scene were unable to revive the 57-year-old Tronsden, and he was pronounced deceased. The occupants of the other vehicle, including the driver and passenger, were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.
Currently, an active investigation is underway to acquire additional details about the incident.
