Pedestrian-Auto Collision near Fruitridge Road Left Man Hospitalized


SACRAMENTO, CA (October 5, 2023) - Thursday morning, a hit-and-run collision on Franklin Boulevard sent a man to the hospital.
Police responded to the incident shortly after 9:00 a.m. at Franklin Boulevard and Fruitridge Road in the North City Farms neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man lying on the roadway with serious injuries. However, the involved driver was believed to have fled the scene before the authorities arrived.
Additionally, police have not released a description of the vehicle involved at this time.
Responding medical personnel transported the male victim to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
