LONGVIEW, TX (January 20, 2025) – One woman died Thursday morning, in a pedestrian accident at the 2000 block of North Eastman Road.
First responders arrived to the scene around 8:00 a.m., near Eden Drive on December 26th.
Authorities determined that the driver of a blue truck struck a woman on the roadway. According to officers, the pedestrian failed to yield the right of way at the time of the incident.
Despite the efforts of medical responders, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been disclosed by law enforcement.
Emergency crews temporarily closed the area to facilitate cleanup and initial investigative work. The investigation remains active as officials continue to gather more details. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
