One Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Louisiana Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (October 5, 2023) - Early Tuesday, a pedestrian lost their life in a collision involving a motorcycle on San Antonio Drive.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene shortly after midnight, near the intersection of San Antonio Drive and Louisiana Boulevard, on September 19th.

According to reports, the motorcyclist was traveling north on San Antonio Drive and had the right of way with a green traffic signal. However, for reasons that are currently under investigation, the pedestrian suddenly crossed the path of the motorcyclist, leaving the rider with no time to avoid the collision.

The impact resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene by arriving medical personnel.
