Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Crash near Furlong Drive

SAN JOSE, CA (July 16, 2024) – One person died late Thursday afternoon, in a motorcycle crash on Winfield Boulevard and Furlong Drive.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m., near Furlong Drive.

Currently, the circumstances leading to the crash are still under active investigation. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released by police. It is unclear whether the driver of the second vehicle sustained any injuries from the crash.

Authorities closed Winfield Boulevard between Blossom Hill and Coleman for the investigation. San Jose officials will provide more information about the fatal motorcycle crash as it becomes available.
