Tkay Maidza Won One with Sweet Justice: Zimbabwean-born, Australian, L.A.-based singer-songwriter and rapper Tkay Maidza has released her second album, Sweet Justice. That has been accompanied with a single from it -- "Won One."

"The slinky, razor-sharp track produced by Stint addresses Tkay’s experiences with misogyny in the music industry – the excoriating but high-minded song draws connections between the men who try to control women’s careers and the men that do women the world over wrong every day," reads the press release. "It plays like an exorcism, channeling all the apathy and animosity she felt towards music industry chauvinism."

Of the release, Tkay says, “‘Won One’ was therapeutic to write. I don’t feel bad about anything that I said. It was almost like automatic writing – I didn’t overthink it, I didn’t edit any word that I put in.”

While the song is a sultry R&B banger with an important message, the video/visualiser is beautiful and stylish -- Maidza looking like a gold statue of a goddess in the water.
