Safe vehicle operation relies on thinking, reasoning, and muscle coordination. These abilities are compromised when alcohol, specific medications, or illicit substances are consumed. It is strongly advised never to drive under the influence, as the repercussions can be catastrophic for both the driver and others on the road. In situations where one is impaired, it is recommended to opt for alternative transportation options such as Uber, Lyft, or a taxi.
