FAIRFIELD, CA (January 20, 2025) – One female driver was killed early Sunday morning, in a head-on crash on Lopes and Silver Creek Road.
First responders arrived to the scene at approximately 12:30 a.m., on January 5th.
Reports state that one vehicle was traveling northbound while another was heading southbound. For reasons yet to be determined, one of the drivers drifted into the oncoming lane, causing a head-on collision.
Paramedics transported a 28-year-old woman to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel later pronounced her dead at the hospital.
The other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation is ongoing as investigators work to gather more information.
